Tips for motivating staff in electronic sales jobs

Keeping people motivated and interested in their electronics sales jobs can be a challenge, according to one training specialist.

Pareto Law has offered some tips on keeping staff morale up during a tough economic climate, which the firm shared with Online Recruitment magazine.

Dress down days were one recommendation, with dress up days cited as an alternative. Each of these options could incorporate a prize or charitable donation component, it was suggested.

A ten-minute tai chi break may do wonders for the energy of people in electronics sales jobs, as could a visit from a professional masseur or masseuse.

Social gatherings, such as karaoke nights, competitions and professional performance coaches were also recommended.

Jonathan Fitchew, joint managing director of Pareto Law, told the publication: "It is vital that you put steps in place to keep your team motivated if your business is to survive during this period of instability."
